IARU World Highspeed Telegraphy Championships
The World Championships of Highspeed Telegraphy (HST) are organized yearly by the internation amateur radio union (IARU), the World association of radioamateurs. Previously, these championships were hold irregularly and from 1995 onwards every two years. In between, the so-called IARU region 1 championships took place from time to time, for the last time in the year 2014 in Montenegro. From 1983 to 1991 the HST European Championships took place in the Soviet Union, the Federal Republic of Germany and Belgium.
